What is a Robust Fuel System Sender in a fuel pump?
i am buying a fuel pump online but it says its a fuel pump assembly with no Robust Fuel System Sender and i have no idea what that is
What kind of car?
On older cars, you could change *just* the pump, without changing the "sending unit" which is the bracketry that holds the level sensor and supply/return lines. If you have this type, you may want to consider changing the sending unit as well as the pump since older cars had a metal sending unit and metal lines that would rust real bad.
Newer cars have an entire plastic drop in assembly and while they *can* be disassembled to access the pump, they are almost always sold as a unit. These usually go for about 300 bucks or so, while just the pump alone is about 100 bucks.
